Cyber Threat Simulation

Students participate in controlled simulations to experience real-world cyber threats like phishing, malware, and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. They learn how to detect and respond effectively.

Secure Coding Workshop

A practical session where students learn to identify and fix vulnerabilities in software applications, ensuring their code is secure against common threats like SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS).

Network Security Lab Practice

Faculty

Ayman Nassar, M.Sc, PMP, ACP

30+ years of experience in technology and IT with a focus in networking, cybersecurity, IT opeations, data center and automation. He holds two master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering and Engineering Management. He held senior technical and leadership roles at Ericsson, IBM, Northrop Grumman, Corning Glass and cosulted with over 2 dozen telecom organizations such as AT&T, China Telecom, T-Systems. He is also founder of Founder of Islamic Leadership Institute of America (ILIA).

Shane Ford

Shane Ford is an undergraduate computer science student with expertise in Java programming, Linux systems, and hardware installation, alongside foundational skills in construction, electrical work, and engineering principles. Shane leverages these technical and leadership skills to develop and organize STEM programs, inspiring hands-on learning and innovation among youth.
